About Us

After being in the art business for 16 years and selling from my home, I opened Art-Biz Gallery in 1996. Although the gallery is located in Winchester, MO., a suburb of St. Louis, "Winchester Gallery" sounded too pretentious and it was decided to use the Art-Biz from my personal license plate already in use many years. I opted for small and friendly vs. large and impersonal.

Although tiny, less than 600 square feet, Art-Biz is full of wonderful artwork. As a Thomas Kinkade Showcase Dealer, one whole wall is devoted to Thom's work; but the rest of the gallery is filled with an enormous variety of artwork to appeal to anyone, including probably one of the largest selections of affordable original oil paintings of any gallery around ranging in size from 8 x 10 to 36 x 48 and a wide selection of readymade frames. Other artwork includes photography, etchings and engravings, sports, open and limited editions, giclees, serigraphs, wildlife, ethnic, crystal kinetics, cast paper, mixed media and St. Louis prints.

Our hours are Tues.-Sat. 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by special appointment. We are closed Sunday and Monday. Stop by and take a look. You'll be glad you did!
